Traveling, mountain biking, rock climbing, skiing and generally keeping fit. In February 2011 I climbed Kilimanjaro for charity and now I am planning my next adventure.
Having finished my A Levels at Montagu School, Kettering, my first full time role was working within the telephone sales department for Kettering Evening Telegraph and during this time I was promoted twice and eventually ended up running the ‘Situations Vacant’ section of the paper, my first taster of the recruitment market!
With a burning desire for adventure and a passion for life, at the ripe old age of 25 I decided to travel the world. Learning to dive was a keen interest of mine and upon arriving in Cape Town SA, I decided to join a diving club and soon became an advanced diver. After 9 months my journey was completed and I returned to the UK to kick start my career.
Since 2001 I have worked within two senior management roles, which have equipped me with experience of recruiting at many levels and also experiencing various recruitment campaigns and sourcing techniques. This has in itself has equipped me with an understanding of what I would require, in the way of service from a recruitment partner.
I joined The Recruitment Bar in August 2011 and can honestly say that I have a passion for the recruitment, coaching those who require direction and assisting candidates to find their dream job is one part of the role; but equally, at The Recruitment Bar the whole team shares a real passion for ensuring our clients have a first class service.
